Insurance Marketplace - To Bid or Not to Bid

Over the past 6 months, I have written often on the competitive market that is now insurance. If you have not bid your insurance for a few years, now is the time. In most cases, not bidding your insurance now will result in higher premiums and coverage that is not as broad as it could be.

My booklet, "How to Bid Your Insurance," is now available for sale, or download it here for free.

Life In Maine and Other Stuff

Green is occurring in Maine! The last bit of snow left my yard last week. Buds are forming and the grass is greening up. The landscaper was here over the weekend to clean up our yard. The screens are on and the windows stay open for at least part of the day. I put the hummingbird feeder out the other day - no takers yet.

A few weeks ago I read Warren Buffett's letter to Berkshire Hathaway stockholders. It has some great info, some laugh-lines, and great wisdom. You can read it here.

As I mentioned in my last newsletter, I'm doing some speaking to groups on the business wisdom of Peter Drucker. One point he made is the idea that what you don't do is as important as what you do. I blogged on this recently at www.YourBusinessMadeBetter.com. Take a look.

Do You Have the Right Insurance?

Contact me to discuss an unbiased review of your insurance program. Do you have the right coverage? Can your policies be fine-tuned to improve the protection? Can changes be made to ease the administrative burden insurance causes? Are you getting the service you should from your broker? I can help. Remember, I don't sell insurance so I'm unbiased.

Need a Speaker?

I'm pleased to speak to trade, business, or service associations about insurance topics. See my speaker's page.
